Categories

000 - Inbox Criteria

  • Purpose: Temporary holding area for unprocessed files, notes, or tasks.
  • Examples:
    • Quick notes taken during meetings or on the go.
    • Recently downloaded PDFs, images, or links.
    • Draft emails or ideas for upcoming projects.
  • Use Case: Sort items here into the appropriate category once processed (e.g., move project-specific tasks to Projects or reference materials to Resources).

100 - Projects Criteria

  • Purpose: Active initiatives with a defined goal or deliverable.
  • Examples:
    • “Minecraft Mod”
    • “Meshtastic Node”
  • Use Case: Organize project-specific files, tasks, and notes in folders or subfolders. Archive completed projects in the Archive.

200 - Personal Criteria

  • Purpose: Files and notes related to personal interests, hobbies, or private matters.
  • Examples:
    • People - Private contact files
    • Journals, reflections, or personal goals
    • Hobby-related files
    • Personal finance tracking or health records
  • Use Case: Keep this section for deeply personal items that don’t fit into other categories but are important for your individual life.

300 - Focuses Criteria

  • Purpose: Long-term areas of responsibility or priorities that don’t have a specific end date.

  • Examples:
    • Academic focus (e.g., coursework)
    • Work (e.g., ongoing maintenance logs or guides)
    • Personal development (e.g., learning skills)
  • Use Case: Store materials and notes related to ongoing work or recurring tasks.

  • Purpose: Reference material and knowledge that can be used across projects or focuses.
  • Examples:
    • Notes
  • Use Case: Organize files by topic or type for easy retrieval. Resources should not be actively modified.

500 - Archive Criteria

  • Purpose: Storage for inactive or completed items.
  • Examples:
    • “College Application Essays” after submission
    • Completed coursework from “Honors Chemistry - Dornhoefer”
    • Finished projects like “College Visit Video”
  • Use Case: Keep files here for record-keeping or potential future reference. Rarely accessed but safely stored.

  • Purpose: Store static system files, templates, and reusable assets.
  • Examples:
    • Photos, logos, and graphics used in videos or presentations
    • Templates
    • Markdown templates for note-taking
  • Use Case: Organize into subfolders like “Photos”, “Templates”, and “Icons” for quick access in projects or focuses.
